The Bees Knees is a family run business located in a beautifully restored building built in the 1940’s.
From humble beginnings....... The Bees Knees originally opened as a Flower store in 2000.
Adding quality gifts and furniture to compliment the flowers, soon the demand for the fine furniture outgrew the shop and the flowers.
The savvy team moved to the current location, just around the corner, but not before rebuilding the premises from top to bottom.
Named after (owner) Caroline's enthusiasm for the store, The Bees Knees is praised by customers as a suitable name for a store that attracts people from all age groups, including a sprightly 90 year old lady.
Part of the attraction is the extensive range of gift items that Bees Knees offers.
"We always smile when people tell us they have to go to five or six gift shops in large shopping centres to get the equivalent assortment" Caroline says.
Upon entry, every customer is enchanted to discover that they’re surrounded by beautiful giftware. The Bees Knees has got it all covered – soaps, oils, glassware, crystals, scented candles, photo frames, collectable dolls, beanie kids and furniture, both traditional and unusual, plus a whole lot more.
Gifts for all occasions with that little extra you only get from a family that really loves to help its customers.

Situated in the picturesque town of Koo-Wee-Rup in Victoria, 80 km east of Melbourne, on the way to Phillip Island, The Bees Knees is quite simply, a charming store, perfectly at home in a lovely country environment.

- The Bees Knees also sponsor St John's Primary School at Koo Wee Rup and are the major sponsors of the Koo wee Rup Junior Netball Team.
- The Bees Knees is a premiere stockist of Beanie Kids and have a large range of current stock available. Depending upon demand, retired Beanie Kids may be available upon request.
